A Facebook Business page is created for every business to attract a wide range of customers through social media. The Facebook business page was created by the business owner through his personal Facebook profile, so the person who creates Facebook business page becomes the Admin to the page. If he lost his login details or deletes his personal Facebook profile, the business page also gets lost with all the posts, likes, comments and the followers the page holds.

To avoid such an unfortunate end to your Facebook Page, you just need to make sure the page has multiple admins. An admin can add an additional admin to his Facebook page

  1. If the person has Facebook account,
  2. If he is friends with the admin on Facebook
  3. The admin knows the email address of that person Facebook account.

 

Steps to Add Facebook page Admins:

  1. Log into your Facebook personal profile
  2. Reach to your Business page from there.
  3. Click the Settings option on the right hand side corner menu like the image shown below.

  4. Then click the page roles on the left hand menu bar like shown in the above image.
  5. Once you entered the Page role option you will be redirected to a page like below

  6. Type the name that are in your friends list or enter the Email address of the person whom you want to give access to your Facebook Business page.
  7. There are 5 kinds of access you can give to a person.
  • Admin
  • Editor
  • Moderator
  • Advertiser
  • Analyst
  1. Admin can manage all aspects of the Page. They can send messages and publish as the Page, respond to and delete comments on the Page, create ads, see which admin created a post or comment, view Insights, respond to and delete Instagram comments from the Page, edit Instagram account details from the Page, and assign Page roles.
  2. Editor can send messages and publish as the Page, respond to and delete comments on the Page, create ads, see which admin created a post or comment, view Insights, respond to and delete Instagram comments from the Page, and edit Instagram account details from the Page.
  3. Moderator can send messages as the Page, respond to and delete comments on the Page, create ads, see which admin created a post or comment, view Insights and respond to Instagram comments from the Page.
  4. Advertiser can see which admin created a post or comment, create ads and view Insights.
  5. Analyst can see which admin created a post or comment and view Insights.

Once you decided what kind of role the person should have access, then click ADD button, it will redirect you to a page where you have to enter the password of your personal profile. Then it will send the invitation to that particular person for accepting. Once after he accepted the invitation, he will have access to your Facebook business page.
